"Born in Vienna, WOLFGANG KLOS completed his musical education in 1977 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with the diploma "with unanimous award", for which he was also awarded the funding prize of the Minister of Science. After graduating from high school in 1971 at the Theresian Academy in Vienna, he also studied law at the University of Vienna.
His repeated meeting with Ernst Krenek and Max Rostal, who was also his teacher, had a great influence on his artistic development. As the winner of numerous competitions, he combines pedagogical, solo, chamber music and orchestral competence with a pronounced socio-cultural commitment."
