Research Centre for Health and the Environment

CISA is a research unit that aims to implement, develop and promote fundamental and applied research in Health care sciences and the Environment. The main objectives of the Centre are: to foster research at ESTSP' undergraduate level, as a means to develop skills that increase the competitiveness of future graduates; to create a research support structure at post-graduate level in the areas of Science and Technologies associated to Health care; to participate in training, mobility and research programmes as partner of similar national and international institutions; to promote the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge in ways that may alert and inform the community on the issues associated with Health care and the Environment; to cooperate with other institutions in the promotion of the values of Environmental Ethics.
