Pinar Dinçer

She has started her viola education at "Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory" with Prof. Çetin Aydar.
She has graduated in 2001 and the same year she has won the 1stNational Viola Competition in İzmir where she was awarded a Viola by A. Stradivarius Institute. She hasactively worked at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory between2001-2006 and Başkent University " Orchestra Academic Başkent" between 2006-2007.

In 2002 with B.Bartok's Viola Concerto she has appeared as soloist with Izmir State Symphonic Orchestra. In 2007 she has premiered Turkish Composers İlhan Usmanbaş's Clarinet Quintet and in 2009 Şölen Dikener’s Concerto for two Violas. During her international career she has participated actively in countless masterclasses, chamber music groups and orchestras both as soloist and orchestra member in Germany, France, Greece, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Cyprus,Japan and in BBC Proms-London, England. In Turkey Ms. Dinçer has appeared as soloist with leading orchestras. She has also performed many chamber music concerts in Samsun, Adana and Ankara. Between 2009-2011 she has completed her Master's Degree with Ruşen Güneş at Yaşar University Music Department where she has studied chamber music and gave concerts with Alexander Rudin.

She is the violist of Semplice Quartet and completed her studies in “Universitat für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien” with Prof. Johannes Meissl in 2018. While continuing her Doctorate studies at Yaşar University Arts and Design Faculty Music Department, Pinar Dinçer is the principle Viola and Chamber Music teacher at Yaşar University Music Department. Every year she getsinvited to play concerts and to teach around Turkey. She is also viola member of Yasar Chamber Orchestra, Borusan Istanbul Philarmonic Orchestra and Mediterranean Philarmonic Orchestra.

 

Başar Can Kıvrak

Başar Can Kıvrak started studying at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow in 2008 and graduated from the class of Eliso Virsaladze in 2012 with the highest distinction, a “red diploma”, in May 2012. He is a pianist who won several awards in the national and international competitions he entered over the course of his studies.

Kıvrak is a graduate of Ankara Tevfik Fikret High School. After the age of ten, he studied piano under Ozan Bilen for two years. After studying with Emre Şen between 2000 and 2001, he was admitted to Bilkent University Music Preparatory High School to study in Namık Sultanov’s piano class in the 2001-2002 academic year. The next year, he started studying under Gülnara Aziz and earned his undergraduate degree (highhonour) from Bilkent University in 2008.

Kıvrak was awarded the Third Prize in the First International Ferdi Statzer Piano Competition held in Istanbul in 2002, Yamaha Scholarship in 2004, and the Grand Prix in the Second International Young Virtuosos Piano Competition held in Sofia in 2005. He performed as a soloist with Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Bursa State Symphony Orchestra, Eskişehir Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra  Sion, Dolnoslaska  Philarmony, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, and Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic, and made recordings for TRT Ankara and Istanbul Radio. He has recently performed complete works of L.v Beethoven for piano trio in a concert cycle. Kıvrak is currently giving freelance concerts as soloist and chamber musician. He works in Yasar University  music department.
