Pós Graduação em Naturopatia

Complementary and/or Alternative Medicines have become worldwide famous, not only among health product consumers and patients, but also among health professionals. The Law n. 71/2013, published on September 2nd 2013, which overrides the Law n. 45/2003 of August 22nd regarding the professional application of unconventional therapies, reinforces the need of venturing in new areas such as Naturopathy, training professionals with adequate skills and knowledge.

The Post-graduation in Naturopathy aims to:

• Recognize the healing power of nature, holism and the individuality as the three main principles of Naturopathy;

• Recognize the applications and benefits of Naturopathy;

• Prepare professionals for a better use of natural resources, such as plants and food, in health promotion;

• Apply natural resources in the assessment of the health status, in clinical practice and in the management of naturopathic programmes.
